Local GP's for local Nursing Homes
At Gericare we recognise that the best care for residents in Nursing Homes and Independent Living Units is carried out by GP's who work close to these facilities. We believe that GP's that work in a community are best placed to serve that community. That is why our team of aged care experienced GP's, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Exercise Physiologists, Massage therapists, Dentists, Psychologists, Geriatricians and Psychogeriatricians have teamed up with the extensive network of GP's from the Spectrum Health Group to provide regular and timely care.
Our Philosophy is simple:
- Continuity, consistency and appropriate care including palliative care, keeping in mind the wishes of residents and their families.
- Good communication with facility staff, pharmacists, families and residents through regular care planing discussions and reviews.

- Experienced medical and nurse practitioner visits and care at your residential facility or Retirement Village

Nursing Home Visits
We are here to help our aged population living in retirement villages and RACFs across Perth Metropolitan area. After working in office-based general practice and hospitals, we have noticed that the care received by this special group is not optimal, mainly due to the nature of current office-based general practice. Our aim is to get the services of general practice to the client's own place of living
Palliative Care
You can discuss all your end of life health issues with our experienced GPs. We will facilitate your end of life wishes with great dignity and respect. We work with your family and guardians.
Allied Health Services
We will care for all allied health services as required including podiatry,physiotherapy and diabetes or dietary education.
Care Planing
We organize all required care planing for the residents of RACFs
